Chief Minister’s (Remote) Reading Challenge - CMRC
To keep us all reading - 2020 sees the return of the Chief Minster’s Reading Challenge to Holy Trinity.
Each child from the ELC to Year 6 is ‘challenged’ to read 30 age appropriate books over a 15-week time frame.
Year 3 and above have the option of completing a book review on books read - this counts as another book.
The 30 books can be from class reading and individual reading. Fiction or non-fiction, poetry, EBooks, audio books, books on Overdrive, graphic books, home books and of course library books. As long as the books are age appropriate.
Upon our return to school I will collect the CMRC sheets and book reviews. I will then hand out raffle tickets to those that have participated. Prizes are given to each grade level from Redgum book club funds.

Alternatively you can keep a small book or folder of all things library and hand it to Mrs Mertz at a later date.
