The canteen is open on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Orders can be put through via the Qkr App.
An important element of our school is the wearing of a school uniform. We believe that this creates pride in oneself and pride in the school. All students are expected to wear school uniform unless a note from parents indicates an inability to do so. All uniform items are available at the Uniform Shop which is open, Tuesdays (Weeks 1, 3, 5, 7, 9) 8:30am - 9am.
Online orders are also available through QKR . Qkr orders close at 2pm on Tuesdays and will go home with the students on Wednesday.
For all Uniform Shop questions, please email holytrinityuniformshop@gmail.com
Items with the school crest are only available from the school.
CatholicCare in Canberra provide counselling services to students at Holy Trinity from their Student and Family Counselling Unit. They provide short term counselling for many of Canberra’s Catholic schools as part of the school’s pastoral care program.
The Counsellor’s role is to support the emotional and social wellbeing of students and their families and a professional service and a safe space to talk about any issues your child is experiencing.
They see children with difficulties which are just part of normal growing up, as well as issues of concern for either the school, or the family, or the child themselves. It doesn’t have to be a big problem, it is better to get help sooner rather than later. Typical concerns can be fears, anger, relationships with peers, grief, family relationships and family difficulties including parental separation, stress, or anything that is perceived to affect student’s learning or their general well-being.
As well as individual sessions with students during school time our Counsellor works with families, consults with parents, carers and teachers, and may carry out some group work. Referrals to specialist services and professionals may be given when appropriate.
You can refer your child for counselling by filling in a referral form available on Catholic Care’s website or via a link provided by the school. Or you can follow this link:
After you have filled out the referral form you will automatically be sent an email requesting your consent for your child to access our service. In the case of families where parents are separated CatholicCare in Canberra normally require the consent of both parents. If this is difficult for you, please feel free to discuss this with either the Counsellor or the Principal.
This year our Counsellor is Kate Worthington who works with our students and families from Holy Trinity on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am – 5pm. Kate can be contacted at kate.worthington@catholiccare.cg.org.au
