The notes have also gone home via email and a paper copy to all students who expressed interest and to those who received the sacrament of Reconciliation last year. 

Mother's Day Stall

MOTHERS’ DAY STALL

Friday, 10 May

 The Mothers’ Day stall will be held on Friday, 10 May.  For those not familiar with the stall the idea is that each child brings to school a small item (worth around $4 to $8).  These gifts can be picked up from the supermarket as part of regular shopping. It is the spirit that is important and not the actual gift.  

Children are then able to purchase a present, other than the one they have brought in, for a nominal cost of $1 or $2.  

Please bring in your gifts to your classroom as soon as possible!!

We recommend a gift worth about $4 - $8.  Some ideas... chocolates, mugs,

books, toiletries, key rings, magazines, gardening stuff, DVD’s... The list goes on!  

It doesn’t have to be expensive, just thoughtful.

Please consider the environment when purchasing and wrapping your gift

** Father Helpers are also needed on the day (between 8.30am – 11.00am).

Dance Central

Stuck for activities in the upcoming school holidays? We can help! Dance central will be running a four day 9am-5pm school holiday program for 7-10 years old and 11-13 years old! Keep busy with Jazz, Acro, Contemporary and Hip Hop every day, followed by a range of fun activities every afternoon!

Year 1 Excursion to Questacon

Year 1 Questacon Permission Note 2019

Year One are going on excursion to Questacon to provoke students with the opportunity to explore and wonder on our new Inquiry Unit, ‘How the World Works.’Students will investigate through hands on experiences how the 'application of scientfiic principles leads to efficient use of energy'.

REMINDER: NAPLAN Online - installing Lock-Down Browser

As you may be aware, this year NAPLAN will be online for all students in Year 3 and 5.  Please note that Year 3 writing is still completed with pen and paper.

Please click here to indicated whether your child will require access to a school device or are using their own device. 

If your child is using their own device, you will need to install the required Lock-Down Browser (LDB) for NAPLAN. 

 Click here to access the correct type of locked-down browser for your child's device. 

• Please download the appropriate locked-down browser at home. 
• On 28 March students will be undertaking a Platform Readiness Test – this will familiarise them with the platform, as well as the types of questions they can expect in NAPLAN Online.
